Germination and the Biochemical Response of Pumpkin Seeds to Different Concentrations of Humic Acid under Cadmium Stress

The poisoning of heavy metals and their accumulation in food chains are major environmental health risks. There have been several reports that determined pumpkins tend to collect small amounts nitrate or metals. Therefore, the aim present study is investigate effect organic matter (humic acid) on germination activity antioxidant enzymes, glycosylate cycle utilization lipid protein reserves pumpkin seeds under cadmium stress conditions. An experiment was conducted quantify response biochemical change use humic acid treatments were at three levels (0 (control), 100, 200 mg.L−1) five 200, 300, 400 mg.L−1). Linear sigmoidal models used trend trait changes. results show changes percentage seed vigor affected by applying stress. highest for observed without a concentration mg.L−1. quantification also showed model non-stress conditions 100 mg.L−1, but it linear superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase, isocitrate lyase, malate synthase simultaneous stress, linear.
